In honor of its 40th anniversary, Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers is offering discounts on a selection of its best-selling designs, through July 22nd (promotion code is JUL12). The wood furniture company, based in Maine, offers a lifetime guarantee on its wood components, and a five-year warranty on material components.



The company was founded by Thomas Moser, a former Bates college professor. Moser was strongly influenced by Shaker and Pennsylvania Dutch designs, with the manta "if it's made out of wood, we can do it."



Nearly seventy men and women are at work in the Thos. Moser workshops, creating designs out of American black cherry, sustainably harvested in Pennsylvania. Now there are six showrooms across the US: New York, DC, Boston, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Freeport, ME.
