Christopher Ryan More has been named the new executive director of Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA).
More replaces DIFFA's current executive director, David Sheppard, who will retire on August 1 after 17 years in the position.
Most recently, More was the U.S. Fundraising Director for the International AIDS Society, the world's leading independent association of HIV professionals. He brings to DIFFA more than 10 years of management experience in culturally diverse settings, including business development, fundraising, marketing and communications experience, as well as a proven track record in managing budgets in the nonprofit arena.
Gift For Life GFL, whose sole beneficiary is DIFFA, will host its second annual Up on the Roof reception during Las Vegas Market on Tuesday, July 31. The non-profit will also present Umbra with its annual Lifetime Achievement Award during the 61st Annual Retailer Excellence Awards in NYC on Sunday, August 19. GFL also announced the date of its winter fundraiser, Sunday, January 13, which coincides with the NYIGF show.
