Jul 27, 2016

A contemporary house meets gallery on the beach, a Japanese-inspired terraced house extension, a new family home springing from the granite walls of an older building, and a cliff-hanging house are some of the projects that the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has named to its longlist for the 2016 RIBA House of the Year, the U.K.’s most prestigious award for a new house or extension.
