May 22, 2013

Los Angeles' Architecture + Design Museum (A+D) invited designers to reimagine the “ultimate carry-on” pieces for a runway show, auction and fundraising gala in honor of its 12th anniversary on May 11.
Entitled “CELEBRATE: The Journey,” the evening featured top talent from architecture, design, fashion, graphics, product, industrial and the visual arts. Emcee and actor Boise Thomas guided attendees through the event dressed as a pilot, making announcements in “pilot speak” while accompanied by flight attendant-clad models.
