Mar 7, 2016

Kicking off March 30, the Affordable Art Fair is returning to New York’s Metropolitan Pavilion with 70 local, national and international galleries showcasing original work from more than 500 artists. All art is priced from $100 to $10,000, and over 50 percent of the work is priced at below $5,000. Newly added galleries include Galerie D’Este (Montreal), Vula Amehlo Art Development (Johannesburg), Lee Ban Lu Gallery (Singapore) and Soraya Cartategui Fine Arts (Madrid and New York), while returning exhibitors include Will’s Art Warehouse (London), Beaux-arts des Amériques (Montreal) and The Tolman Collection of Tokyo (New York). The fair will run through April 3.

Affordable Art Fair

“The variety of artworks and mediums we show and how we share them with our visitors is what really differentiates us from other art fairs,” says Cristina Salmastrelli, director of the spring Affordable Art Fair NYC. “Communication and education is key for us. We want each visitor to walk away from the fair having learned something new about their love for art and its contemporary market, not to mention [walking away with] a new piece of art!”
