Many don't realize that each High Point Market typically generates over 350 tons of cardboard and other recyclable materials. As a result, the City of High Point and the High Point Market Authority asks showrooms to follow a set of guidelines to properly handle trash and recycling during Markets—and they give an award to the showroom that does this best.
The Green Market Award for this year will go to to Ambella Home Collection's president and founder George Moussa, who will be honored on Monday, April 20 at 9 a.m. Amabella Home Collection’s consistent adherence to guidelines helped contribute to a clean and safe environment for market attendees.
