Earth, air, fire, water: The four elements will serve as artistic inspiration for an upcoming crafts showcase profiling the work of four designers at the American Craft Council San Francisco Show. For the third year, the council will partner with four Bay Area designers to present the "Make Room: Modern Design Meets Craft" showcase during the show at San Francisco’s Fort Mason Center, July 31 to August 2.
Each of the four designers’ room vignettes will be crafted around the four elements. This year’s designers include:
Jeni Gamble of gamble + Design: Gamble’s interior architectural designs are inspired by both space and surroundings, and her work style is known for being clean with modern lines and attention to light, detail, color and texture in each space.

Anastasia Faiella of Faeilla Design: With a painting and fine arts background, plus experience in the interior design and wholesale furnishings industries, Faiella approaches each interior design project as a blank canvas, a place to create something new, fresh, inspiring and beautiful.

“Part of the joy of collecting is incorporating fine craft into your home, and we want to provide our American Craft Council Show visitors with some great examples of how to do just that, using top designers from San Francisco,” Pamela Diamond, the American Craft Council’s director of marketing and communications, says. “In addition, we want to expose the local design community to the high-end craft made by our makers, many of whom have reached the level of artisan through years of studying and working in a specific medium, teaching and having their work displayed in galleries and museums all over the world.”
