The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) has selected fourteen residential and commercial projects for the second-annual Stanford White Awards, which recognize excellence in classical and traditional design. Winners range from a home in the Hudson Valley to a terrace on Fifth Avenue, and include projects in architecture, interior design, landscape design, urbanism, and building craftsmanship and artisanship throughout the tri-state area.

"The winning projects at the 2014 Stanford White Awards were completely dazzling and left me so proud and impressed of the incredible work that the ICAA's constituency is doing,” said ICAA President Peter Lyden. “In case anyone was in doubt, seeing this work confirms that contemporary classicism is alive and thriving, transforming cities and towns into more beautiful and inspiring places to live.”
Dustin Hatley, Barbara Sallick, Shanda Burk
The awards program is named in honor of Stanford White (1853-1906) of the New York firm McKim, Mead & White. Architectural and design firms which have completed classical and traditional projects in the past year were invited to enter.
This year’s winners were selected by architects Michael Imber of Michael Imber Architects; David Jones of Jones & Boer Architects; and interior designer Suzanne Tucker of Tucker & Marks Design.
