“For 30 years, Chicago House has appreciated that an open door presents an opportunity—an opportunity to surround yourself with great partners, a creative approach and a dedication to moving forward,” says Reverend Stan Sloan, chief executive officer of Chicago House. “It’s with the same inspiration that we are thrilled to have the generosity of partners like Architectural Artifacts for this incredible night. ‘Another Door Opens’ will play a huge part in the success of Chicago House to continue its dedication to the nearly 2,000 people who benefit from our programs annually.”

“Our philosophy has always been that, no matter how simple or elaborate, beautiful objects are life’s inspiration,” says Stuart Grannen, owner of Architectural Artifacts. Over the years, we’ve collected hundreds of wooden doors from old buildings around Chicago, waiting for them to inspire us. That time has come and we’re excited to be handing our doors over to the brightest stars in the Chicago design community for ‘Another Door Opens.’ It makes me proud to think that something destined for a landfill will now be creatively repurposed and auctioned to benefit our friends at Chicago House.”

Tickets are $75 for general admission and $125 for VIP. Click here for more information.
