ASID GO PRO comes to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center
Sep 8, 2015

One hundred of the country's up- and- coming design pros will convene on Brooklyn for ASID's fourth annual GO PRO event next month. The event, held October 15 and 16, will introduce attendees to peers as well as industry leaders, with a focus on a particular project: the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where attendees will each learn about a different aspect of the design, development, and construction of the arena under the leadership of SHoP Architects and its principal, Gregg Pasquarelli, AIA, among others.

The GO PRO program was established in 2011, and is dedicated to educating, inspiring and grooming designers who are in their first five years of practice, as well as students in their final two years of schooling.

“Since its inception, the purpose of GO PRO has been to mentor emerging interior designers and ensure they have the resources and training opportunities they need to succeed,” said Randy Fiser, CEO of ASID. “The energy and passion we feel from those who attend GO PRO is palpable, and contagious. This year, we’re changing the way we approach the program’s agenda and we look forward to a dynamic two days.”Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis, with accepted designers being notified by September 17.
