The 2012 Inspiration House will be an integral part of the Cathedral Antiques Show, premiering 20 up-and-coming designers' creative talent in a home that can inspire ideas for the modern family. To be held Jan. 28 on the grounds of St. Philip’s Cathedral, the opening will kick off a week of design-focused events including daily lectures, a house tour, an antiques show, as well as several elegant cocktail parties.

A premier party takes place on Saturday, January 28 and house tours are available Sunday, January 29, Thursday, February 2 through Sunday, February 5 and Thursday, February 9 through Sunday, February 12.
Daily lectures offer an opportunity to expand consumers' knowledge and appreciation of antiques and design. New York designer Richard Keith Langham is best known for his work on Jackie O’s Fifth Avenue apartment will give a presentation on Thursday, February 2, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Langham’s clients have included Hillary Swank, Drue Heinz and William F. Buckley and his late wife, Pat Buckley.
The Cathedral Antiques Show will take place Thursday, February 2 – Saturday, February 4 featuring two floors of highly-respected exhibitors offering a wide variety of beautiful 18th, 19th and early 20th century antiques. Visitors can discover exquisite and unique porcelain, furniture, jewelry, rugs, art, silver and much more in the magnificent setting at The Cathedral of St. Philip.
The Tour of Homes will take place Sunday, January 29, when owners of several beautifully designed homes will open their doors on this self-guided tour through some of Atlanta’s most distinctive neighborhoods. Visitors get a rare glimpse of the work of some of the world’s most famous and finest designers, architects and craftsmen.
This year’s Cathedral Antiques Show programming will benefit All About Developmental Disabilities (AADD), Atlanta’s foremost provider of support services to families with developmental disabilities. AADD is one place where people with developmental disabilities can turn to achieve personal empowerment, family stability and community participation.
