Baccarat's Board of Advisors brings together seven visionaries from the design world to lead its newest initiative, Studio Baccarat—a line created for architecture and interior design professionals.
The Board of Advisors include Rafael de Cardenas, Steven Gambrel, Richard Meier, Annabelle Selldorf, Robert A.M. Stern, Clive Wilkinson and Vicente Wolf.
"We are so proud of our heritage and honored that the most talented architects and designers in the United States also feel passionately about Baccarat and its role in design," said Michael Belleveau, President and CEO of Baccarat US.
The Board will play an integral role in the analysis of Baccarat corporate considerations as they relate to the Architecture and Interior Design community. The group will hold its first meeting Spring of 2011.
Proud of its heritage of experimentation with new ideas, Baccarat has sought to formalize this ethos with the creation of Studio Baccarat will integrate creative input from the best talent and major designers to offer designers and architects added-value, consulting and expanded designer services, customized product design and production capabilities and implementation support.
Studio Baccarat will officially launch during West Week on March 23rd and 24th with a temporary showroom at the Pacific Design Center.
Interior designers and architects will be introduced to and welcomed to this new community. Studio Baccarat will host regional events at design centers and during ICFF throughout the coming year.
