Based in Chicago, Austin Rothbard will oversee Baker Knapp & Tubbs, Inc., which includes Baker Manufacturing, Baker Knapp & Tubbs Showrooms and Baker Stores.
Bringing over 15 years of business experience to Baker, with a distinguished work history and set of accomplishments, Rothbard will be responsible for directing all functional aspects of the company.
“Austin is the right leader to take Baker to the next level of performance,” said Rachel D. Kohler, Group President—Interiors. “It is his combination of leadership and experience that makes Austin the ideal president. I couldn’t be more pleased with having him on board.”
Rothbard holds an MBA from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s from Tufts University in Civil Engineering and most recently served as President of Brunswick Billiards, a 165-year-old business based in Bristol, WI.
“I hope to provide families with furniture that meets their needs today and create the heirlooms to be passed on for generations to follow,” said Rothbard.
Founded in 1873 and headquartered in Kohler, WI, Kohler Co. is one of America’s oldest and largest privately held companies, a global leader in the manufacturing of kitchen and bath products, tile, cabinetry, home interiors and more.
