In collaboration with Traditional Home, ADAC is putting a new twist on its annual ADAC: Behind the Windows program, which will feature interior designers’ work during DISCOVER ADAC, October 6 – 10. This year, in honor of the magazine’s 25th anniversary, Traditional Home Editor in Chief Ann Maine hand-selected eight designers to bring to life their distinctive vision of “classic taste for modern living.”
“The South, with its aesthetic of beautiful design, has long been a rich source of lovely homes and projects for us to share with our readers across the country,” said Maine. “So what better location than ADAC to bring together talented designers to create a series of innovative showcase windows that exemplify classic taste for modern life? ADAC's creative program and range of stunning showrooms are helping Traditional Home do just that!"
Behind the Windows designers Amanda Nisbet and Gary McBournie
The designers for this year’s ADAC: Behind the Window all hail from across the country, and have a range of accolades and professional accomplishments. They include Robert Brown, Phoebe Howard, Gary McBournie, Allison Paladino, Michelle Workman, Barbara Westbrook, Tish Mills and Amanda Nisbet.
The windows will be on display starting Monday, October 6, throughout the next six months. Meanwhile, guests of ADAC will be treated to various panel discussions, book signings and new product debuts throughout the building during DISCOVER ADAC.
The events include keynote presentations featuring designers Michael Divine, Barry Dixon, Jeffrey Alan Marks, Darryl Carter and Nancy Braithwaite; a tour of ADAC with designer Stan Topol, a discussion about the anniversary and windows with Maine, and book signings with McBournie and James Farmer.
Media partners for the week include Traditional Home, MILIEU, MODERN LUXURY’s The Atlantan & Interiors Atlanta, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, Atlanta Magazine and flower magazine.
