IIDA-NY is accepting nominations for the Ellen Kushman Distinguished Service Award, which "recognizes and celebrates an individual who has demonstrated loyalty, outstanding service and unselfish devotion" to the New York chapter.
Established to honor Ellen Kushman, the former executive director of IIDA-NY who lost her life to cancer, the award winner is determined by the board of directors and is formally presented at the annual meeting.
As IIDA-NY explains, "Eligibility is, simply, outstanding or distinguished volunteer service by a member during the prior year, either in continuing service/leadership on a number of activities or significant service/leadership for a specific project."
