Interior designer Celerie Kemble will help kick-off this year’s East Hampton Antiques Show sponsored by House Beautiful with a preview party on Friday, July 18. Twenty-five top interior designers who work in the Hamptons are also supporting this year’s show on the Designers Committee. This year’s list includes John Barman, David Kleinberg, Scott Sanders, and Charlotte Moss, among others.
"I have long loved shopping the antique show in East Hampton, and am so honored to be part of an event that protects the town’s historic structures and works to preserve its rich history," said Kemble.
Now in its eighth year, the East Hampton Antiques Show is a highlight on the East Hampton arts and social calendar, and takes place on the historic grounds of the Mulford Farm, Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20.
Items including vintage rattan and bamboo furniture, lighting, textiles, architectural elements, American formal and country painted furniture, Art Deco and Modern furniture, garden ornaments, wrought iron accessories, industrial items, paintings, trade signs, period jewelry, weather vanes, and mirrors, will be offered by the 55 participating dealers.
The preview cocktail party is from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. on Friday, July 18. Tickets are $150 and includes entrance for the following day. For tickets please contact the East Hampton Historical Society at 631-324-6850, or via email.
Admission to the Antiques Show is $10, with early buying at $20. Show hours are Saturday, July 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with an early buying hour at 9:00 a.m. On Sunday the show is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All ticket proceeds will benefit the East Hampton Historical Society.
