Clinton designers lecture at D.C's Corcoran Gallery
May 1, 2012

On Tuesday, May 8 at 7 p.m. the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design will present Brown Davis Interiors: DC Miami Design Mix, a lecture by acclaimed interior designers Rob Brown and Todd Davis, co-sponsored by the Washington Design Center.
Brown and Davis will discuss their interior design approach and share images of their projects. Founded in Washington, D.C. by Rob Brown and Todd Davis in 1994, Brown Davis has designed two residences for the Clintons, the British Embassy residence, and other high-profile projects. In D.C., they are increasingly commissioned to infuse their clients’ homes with a less conservative, more modern, but still classically-based sensibility.

Brown Davis has a second office in Miami Beach, which has provided the designers fresh inspiration and growth in artistic styles and inspiration. According to the designers, "Miami’s saturated hues and tropical landscape has influenced a bold aesthetic that resists conformity. It is instead a uniquely American perspective, fusing the traditional roots of classicism, with an exuberant, sensual vitality.” Tickets are $12 for Corcoran members, $15 for non-members, $7.50 for non-Corcoran students; and free admission for Corcoran students, staff, and faculty.
