The Conran Shop, founded by renowned designer Sir Terence Conran, will relocate its Manhattan store from the current location at Bridge market and launching its U.S. flagship to an 8,500 sq ft shop located within ABC Carpet & Home, the home design store at 888 Broadway and 19th street in April this year. The shop will be located in the lower level of the store, formerly home to Silk Trading Company, which will move to the mezzanine level under the new name Wolf Home. The Conran Shop will continue to offer the same products and expand its selection of Design Classics and furniture, contemporary lighting and the Well Considered product range for all areas of the home. In addition The Conran Shop will continue to showcase seasonal collections and provide a launch pad for young designers and brand new home products. “This is a very unique opportunity to become more accessible to our customers and collaborate with of one of New York’s most loved stores” says Nick Moore, Managing Director, The Conran Shop. In 2010, The Conran Shop will celebrate ten years of business in New York where it has offered its inimitable mix of vintage and modern furniture, extensive lighting collection and quirky home accessories. Other Conran stores are located in Japan, the UK, Ireland and France.
