DailyCandy to present "Womenomics" at Tabletop Market

DailyCandy's editor-at-large Dannielle Kyrillos will be hosting a breakfast seminar: New Womenomics: What Women Want & How To Reach Them, Teach Them & Speak Their Language at The New York Tabletop Show in October.
"We recognize that today's most empowered consumers are women," said Laurie Burns, Forty One Madison's Senior Vice President and Director. "Women are now responsible for 85% of all purchasing decisions ... and are about to overtake the American workforce as the majority among all wage earners. It is a subject that demands our attention, whether you're in the business of selling luxury, mass or a target market that's somewhere in-between."
Kyrillos is well-immersed in this hotbed topic and a keen observer of women's spending habits, according to Burns. She helped grow DailyCandy, an online guide to what's hot, new and undiscovered in fashion, home, restaurants, gadgets, travel and lifestyle from a single edition New York-centric Web site to a multi-market digital media might that services more than 3.3 million subscriptions. Its latest venture, DailyCandy Weddings, speaks directly to women who are brides-to-be, and both sites offer strategic platforms for the tabletop industry to reach this increasingly influential audience.
Kyrillos frequently makes guest appearances on CNN, CNBC, The Today Show, Rachael Ray among others. She will be seen this Fall as a judge on Bravo's Top Chef: Just Desserts.
