Designer debuts wallpaper line to support animals
Dec 9, 2016

Interior and product designer Susan Jamieson has launched a follow-up collection to her Bridget Beari wallpaper line. A portion of all sales from the new line, Yakunah II, will support animal rescue organizations.

Yakunah (meaning "love" in Mayan) is a collection of patterns and palettes inspired by nature and unusual objects that have touched Jamieson over the years. The line comprises nine new patterns with 25 colorway options, handprinted on both matte and metallic papers.

"I am inspired by everything . . . from architecture and diverse cultures and their history to animals and nature,” said Jamieson. “I always keep a sketchbook nearby to capture little images that may turn into wallpaper, a paint color or even a piece of furniture. And because our lifestyles and ideas of beauty are so wonderfully varied, I like to offer a wide range of looks and feels, rather than one signature style. My designs are also shaped by styles that my interior design clients continue to request that aren’t easily found on the market—whether it be an outsized pink zebra stripe or a modern take on Delft tile.”

The collection is available online, as well as at Bradley showrooms in Atlanta, Chicago and New York City.
