TableArt, the eight-year-old dining and entertaining retailer in L.A., just moved one block west on Melrose. The retailer run by Walter Lowry, and favored for hostess gifts, registries and among interior designers, offers both European and American designs along with an exclusive private label line.
Included in the assortment are hard-to-find European brands like Theresienthal, Dibbern and Hering Berlin. New brands represented include Saint-Louis, Alessi, Forge de Laguiole and Stelton. TableArt is now the Los Angeles home for luxury lighting from Saint-Louis and Lobmeyr.
The secret to TableArt's success, according to Lowry is two fold, "Our unique collection and our unequaled customer service. TableArt made a commitment when the store opened in 2004 to return to an era when customer service really meant something. To us, every one of our customers is special. That is our difference."
