Yesterday evening, interior designer Robin Baron of Robin Baron Design and Artistic Tile hosted a special fundraiser at Artistic Tile’s flagship showroom in Manhattan to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island’s (RMH-LI) Project Design 2014—the largest redesign the house has seen in its 28-year history.
Baron, along with 40 other interior designers, have joined Project 2014 to transform 24 bedrooms, four kitchens, five common areas, laundry rooms and a brand new fitness center and meditation room within the house.

All proceeds from the evening’s entrance fee and raffle tickets went straight to the RMH-LI, a home away from home for families of seriously ill children, to support ongoing operations, programs and services that the house provides.
“I am thrilled to be partnering with the generous and fabulous Artistic Tile to raise additional money for Ronald McDonald House of Long Island,” said Baron. “I always say ‘confidence begins at home’ and at Ronald McDonald House, the healing begins at home!”

Interior designers and industry friends came by for the pre-celebration and raffle which included prizes such as an in-home beauty makeover; a manicure, pedicure and facial at Dorothy's Day Spa; and gift certificates to Barney Greengrass and Café Fiorello.
