Farrow & Ball to be spotlighted in MoMA’s Degas exhibit

The iconic paint brand Farrow & Ball will donate colors to complement the new exhibit “Edgar Degas: A Strange New Beauty,” at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, running through July 24. The colors include the new tone, Worsted, in addition to Off-Black and Mole’s Breath, a rich gray.

The exhibit will spotlight 120 rarely seen monotypes, in addition to approximately 60 related paintings, drawings, pastels, sketchbooks and prints “that show Degas at his most modern, capturing the spirit of urban life; depicting the body in new and daring ways; liberating mark-making from tradition; and boldly engaging the possibilities of abstraction,” says the museum.
