The dawn of the New Year has brought about a variety of showroom openings. From coast to coast, the Midwest, the South and abroad, there are furniture, kitchen and textiles brands setting their sights on new locations.

New York City
Karen Pearse Global Direct has expanded its New York showroom to keep up with the demand of its international projects and its increased product offerings. The showroom has exclusive offerings from Winckelmans porcelain tile, and a design lab where clients and designers can see the products in use. (251 5th Ave.)

The new HBF and HBF Textiles showroom

HBF and HBF Textiles designed their new joint showroom with a focus on brand identity. Some of HBF’s latest NeoCon introductions, including Kanso by Nao Tamura, the Studio Table by Studio Gorm, and the Harmoni Table by Space Copenhagen, are showcased in the new space. (920 Broadway, 8th floor)

Brooklyn is home to the newest, and also the largest, Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery showroom in the New York metro area. Coming in at 9,000 square feet, the showroom showcases the brand’s appliances, fixtures, faucets and lighting. (360 Furman St., Brooklyn)

Tai Ping, Edward Fields, La Manufacture Cogolin and Les Manufactures Catry are all represented at House of Tai Ping’s new showroom in New York City. The 10,000-square-foot space has dedicated areas for each brand, and full rugs and samples available. (26 W. 17th St.)

Lorin Marsh has brought its clean and contemporary aesthetic to life at the New York Design Center, opening a new showroom and design studio. The antique and contemporary furniture and accessories purveyor made the move from the D&D Building. (200 Lexington Ave., Suite 809)

The D&D Building has welcomed two brands to its roster of showrooms. Austrian textile brand Baumann Dekor (Suite 515) will be opening its first U.S. showroom, where it is showcasing its own lines, as well as collections from James Dunlop and VFM. DzineNY (Suite 301/303), the exclusive distributor of Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors, Gianfranco Ferré Home Interiors, and Jumbo Collection, has seating, case goods, lighting and carpet options. Soane Britain’s newly expanded office and showroom comes in at 1,300 square feet, and features a dedicated fabric and wallpaper display, which showcases the brand’s new introductions. The expansion came about to meet the needs of its growing U.S. business.(131 West 33rd St., 9th floor)

Bridget Beari Home Store from Susan Jamieson

South
During winter market, Arteriors debuted a new showroom at the Dallas Market Center. The 2,100-square-foot showroom prominently features the brand’s new Lighting Gallery Program, and also carries the brand’s latest introductions and an assortment of its other key products. (2100 N. Bridget Beari Home Store, interior designer Susan Jamieson’s first brick-and-mortar foray, debuted in Virginia. The store features a curated collection of art, accessories, furniture, lighting and rugs, and her own collections of wallpaper, paint and furniture. To highlight the different styles on offer, Jamieson plans to regularly redesign the space. (1528 West Cary St., Richmond, VA)

Chicago
Michael-Cleary, a multi-line showroom, moved to a new location at the Merchandise Mart, expanding its space by 800 square feet. The expansion has allowed for the addition of new offerings from Grag Studios, Esperanza Collection Lighting and Artisan Rugs, and more products from Niermann Weeks, de Gournay, Keith Fritz Fine Furniture and Minton-Spidell. Los Angeles
Johnston Marklee designed Knoll’s second direct-to-consumer store, which opened in Los Angeles. The design for 4,000-square-foot Knoll Home Design Shop was inspired by northern Italian architecture from the 1950s and 1960s. Some of the notable design features include hand-polished gray terrazzo with white marble aggregate on the exterior, herringbone oak flooring, and brass details. Collections on show range from new debuts from David Adjaye and Marc Krusin to classic collections from Eero Saarinen and Harry Bertoia (314 North Robertson Blvd.)

Knoll Home Design Shop

The West Hollywood Design District is the latest location for Flexform’s roster of showrooms. Designed by Antonio Citterio, one of the company’s veteran designers, the 3,500-square-foot space will showcase the Italian furniture brand’s classic collections, as well as a new collection from Citterio featuring the ADDA sofa and an armchair collection, and Flexform’s new flatweave rug collection. Abroad
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec of Bouroullec Studio designed Kvadrat’s new flagship showroom in Copenhagen. A custom shelving and hanging unit allows the showroom to easily be cleared or for an installation to be moved in. (Pakhus 48, Klubiensvej 22 2150 Nordhavn)

Hurtado Furniture, a third-generation Spanish furniture manufacturer, opened its first showroom in India, one of three planned for this year. The first location, in Mumbai, features some of its most popular collections, including SOHO, City and Zafiro. (Maison, Lobby Level, Tower 1, Indiabulls, Finance Centre, S.b. Marg, Mumbai, 400013)
