Frank Gehry to teach architecture classes at USC
Jan 24, 2011

Frank Gehry, 81, has been named a professor of architecture at the University of Southern California's School of Architecture—the school he graduated from in 1954.
Dean of the USC School of Architecture Qingyun Ma said in a statement that Gehry is arguably one of the most innovative designers in history, integrating design, art and community in such unique, pioneering ways.

He also holds a teaching position at Columbia University and has taught at the Yale School of Architecture. A Pritzker Prize winner, Gehry is best known for the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, and the IAC Building in New York. His next project, the hall for Miami's New World Symphony, will open later this month.
