HC&G announces finalists for Innovation in Design awards

One Kings Lane partners with Hamptons Cottages & Gardens (HC&G) for the first annual HC&G Innovation in Design Awards at East Hampton’s Guild Hall on Thursday night, July 28th, to honor the top Hamptons projects in the categories of bath design, kitchen design, interior design and architecture.
“We're so thrilled to present these awards for the first time ever in the Hamptons,” says Kendell Cronstrom, HC&G Editor in Chief. “There are so many talented architects and designers doing wonderful projects on the East End, and this provides us with an opportunity to give them well-deserved recognition.”

The Innovation in Design Awards began five years ago with HC&G’s sister publication, Connecticut Cottages & Gardens, led by editorial director D.J. Carey. The awards in Connecticut have been a huge success and attract nearly 300 attendees in the design field each year.
The finalists in HC&G’s inaugural ceremony are: Anthony-Wright Interior Design, Austin Patterson Disston, Barnes Coy, Fred Bernstein/Home 114, Halper Owens Architects, Hampton Design, Martin Architects, Tristan Harstan & Company and Stelle Architects.
The 2011 Innovator Award will go to world-renowned textile designer Jack Lenor Larsen for his outstanding design accomplishments and vision.
This year’s esteemed panel of judges includes: Steven Gambrel, Paul Goldberger, Celerie Kemble, Charlotte Moss,  and Vicente Wolf.
HC&G is the leading publication on Long Island’s East End that features the best in home design, architecture and luxury living. This season celebrates 10 years of great Hamptons homes, style and design inspiration.
