This December, the Hearst Design Group and Dering Hall will launch a new cross-title Designer Directory powered by Dering Hall and accessible from HouseBeautiful, ElleDecor, and Veranda websites.
Portfolios currently on ELLE DECOR’s designer registry will be migrated onto the new, cross-title Designer Directory and Dering Hall. Designer portfolios currently on Dering Hall will be added to the new Designer Directory. To join the new directory, designers and architects must become a paying member of Dering Hall.
“The Designer Directory is already a hit with both ELLE DECOR’s readers and hundreds of designers, who have used it to promote their work and find new clients,” said Michael Boodro, editor in chief of ELLE DECOR. “Now, with the partnership of Dering Hall, and its expansion across all of the Hearst Design Group, with a reach of more than two million visitors daily, I know it will be even more successful. Dering Hall’s experience and high standards in creating a curated and aesthetically pleasing user experience make them an ideal partner for the Designer Directory.”
According to Dering Hall’s CEO Peter Sallick, “By partnering with the Hearst Design Group, more consumers will see how hiring a qualified design professional can enhance the look and livability of their homes.”
The Designer Directory will include designers’ biographical and contact information, portfolio images, top ten lists, press listings, announcements and links to the designers’ websites.
