Hearst Magazines and Scripps Networks Interactive have joined forces on a magazine version of HGTV. Lead by former Editor-in-Chief of Coastal Living Sara Peterson, HGTV Magazine will reflect themes in HGTV channel's programming.
Using a similar strategy to the launch of Food Network magazine, Hearst and Scripps will launch a test issue in October and a second in January 2012. The test period is intended to guage response before a full-scale launch in 2012.
