The Big Apple’s top remodeling professionals were named today as recipients of the 2012 “Best of Remodeling” award from Houzz, an online platform for residential remodeling and design.
“This is a real stamp of approval from the Houzz community for these professionals, and we’re thrilled to welcome them to this elite group of ‘Best Of’ winners,” said Liza Hausman, vice president of marketing for Houzz.
The New York Metro area 2012 “Best of Remodeling” overall winners are Valerie Pasquiou Interiors + Design, AMI Designs, Prestige Custom Building & Construction, S.A.N. Design Group, CWB Architects, kitchen and bath designer Linda Burkhardt, Eisner Design, Marie Burgos Design, Olga Adler Interiors and Chelsea Atelier Architect.
The awards were given for the most popular images in New York across all home spaces, which ranged from bedrooms and bathrooms to children’s rooms and kitchens. All awards were given in the Design category.
Some of the additional winning images and professionals by category in New York: bedroom, living room, bathroom and dining room. Several professionals won for their work in multiple spaces.
Design award winners’ work was the most popular among the 1.2 million members, also known as “Houzzers,” who saved more than 16.5 million professional images to their personal ideabooks via the Houzz site and iPad/iPhone app.
With Houzz, homeowners can identify top-rated vendors and evaluate professionals by asking questions about their work and reading responses to questions from others in the community. Houzz boasts 3.5 million monthly unique users and 80 million monthly page views.
