Soledad Twombly, Argentinian designer of the label SOLE, launched a new collection of tops, tunics and jackets that incorporate fabrics of designer Madeline Weinrib.
A trunk show in New York last week showed the collection’s fifteen pieces that embody Twombly’s love for Central Asian textiles and rich Italian fabrics, and Weinrib’s signature handmade ikats.
Both women come from exceptionally creative line of pedigree: Weinrib is the great granddaughter of ABC Carpet & Home founder Max Weinrib, and Twombly is the daughter-in-law of American artist Cy Twombly.
