A new section, LivingInteriors, will be introduced at the annual imm Cologne show this Fall. It will occupy the LivingKitchen area and offer a new forum for manufacturers from the areas of bathrooms, floors, walls, ceilings and light. Visitors will get an overview of current trends, ideas and future standards through interior furnishing variants in living environments.
Designers, architects and planners as well as interior designers, shop fitters from the furniture trade, the bathroom trade, and end consumers will be specifically addressed. The entire event is internationally oriented and is designed as an independent component within the framework of imm cologne.
“For us, LivingInteriors is a unique opportunity to consolidate our expertise within the entire furnishing sector”, says Frank Haubold, director of imm cologne. “The current developments confirm imm cologne as an important international business event. Anyone wanting to earn money through furniture turns to Germany and thus to imm cologne as the biggest event in this market.”
A highly concentrated total of over 300 companies, including Minotti, Cassina, Classicon, Walter Knoll, Cor interlubke and, for the first time, Driade, Kristalia, casamia, Living Divani and Desalto, will present global design developments. Very promising talks are currently underway with other Italian companies.
“We will need this variety even more in future”, says Haubold. "Here in particular, visitors will see new marketing concepts, which will also make the right impact."
