Italian interior designer Michele Bönan and Italian fabric house Dedar partnered for the redesign of the 1 Place Vendôme restaurant in Paris, which is part of the Hotel de Vendôme. Bönan's aim for the project was "to give it a touch of glamour, fashion accents and a strong, elegant Parisian allure." To achieve the couture look, Bönan used all textiles by Dedar, including silver-studded black and white hounds’ tooth for the chairs, plush silk velvet for the sofas, silver silk satin for the curtains, and cushions of pink silk satin with black and white ribbed motifs. All furniture and fittings were custom designed by Michele Bönan and manufactured in Florence, and all textiles and trims designed and edited by Dedar in Como. Bönan’s other projects include the JK Place Firenze in Florence, JK Place Capri, Heidelberg Suites Boutique Hotel, Grovenor House in Miami, the renovation of the legendary Palazzo Tornabuoni residences and Ferragamo’s Lungarno Hotels in Florence.
