Los Angeles based JANUS et Cie, known for its innovative garden and casual furnishings, has announced the opening of its newest showroom and sales office located in the Colonia Hipodromo Condesa district in Mexico City. The company’s expansion into Latin America is a natural progression for the company as Mexico City has become a center of fine design with a growing demand for elegant interior and exterior furnishings. The newly opened showroom transforms an industrial space into a vibrant garden within the city. The light-filled gallery features the signature hallmarks of all JANUS et Cie showrooms, including lush faux hedges and boxwood topiaries. This sublime backdrop for the company’s extensive range of modern and traditional high quality interior and exterior furnishings, textiles and accessories increases JANUS et Cie’s ability to serve its broad base of affluent, design-savvy clients in the region. The new Mexico City showroom is the twelfth for the company founded in 1978 by artist and designer Janice Feldman. Known for her appreciation of beauty, design innovation and technical knowledge, she is known for pursuing the innovations of the future with a passion while honoring the traditions of the past.
