Japanese luxury retailer Takashimaya on Manhattan's Fifth Avenue will close its doors this June after over 40 years of business. According to Women's Wear Daily, which first reported the news, six additional stores in Japan have been closed. Takashimaya plans to sell the 37,000 square feet, eight-floor building once the store closes.
