“The Measure of Man,” an exhibit on Le Corbusier at Paris’s Centre Pompidou, will introduce viewers to the gifted urban planner-artist-architect’s storied aesthetic via 300 works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, architectural drawings, models, objects, films, photographs and documents. Open until August 3, the exhibit will reveal some of his designs, which are available today to members of the trade.
Le Corbusier's work is making appearances outside the museum, too, from ARTE wallcoverings, which worked with Le Corbusier's estate to develop the work based on his Polychromie Architecturale color set, to Design Within Reach's furniture, such as the Outdoor LC1 Sling Chair, and Cassina's LC4 Chaise Lounge, which was developed in 1928 as part of a complete collection. Additionally, Studio Willy Rizzo, located near Centre Pompidou, will display rare portraits of Le Corbusier through June 22. Learn more online.
