A culinary design project was created to bring designers and operators together through food and design. Six of this year’s short-listed restaurants were asked to produce a canapé-style catering solution, inspired from their own menu, specifically for the Awards ceremony. The restaurants’ respective designers were then asked to each create a service tray or receptacle to match both the design of their restaurant and canapé solution.
Participants included Ab Rogers (Pizza Express), Greig & Stephenson (ASK), Lifeforms (Peggy Porschen Cakes), David Archer Architects (Busaba Eathai), SHH (Barbican Lounge), Fusion DNA (Rocket).
