Last week, McAlpine House, an integrated architecture and design firm, celebrated the opening of its new Atlanta offices at the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center. Susan Ferrier and Bobby McAlpine, two of the seven partners at McAlpine House, designed the space and will be working from the new office. Other notable guests included David Baker and John Sease, other McAlpine House partners, Elizabeth Ralls of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, Peter Block of Peter Block Architects, Margaret Kirkland of Margaret Kirkland Interiors, and Suzanne Kasler of Suzanne Kasler Designs.
“Designing this office space was a real labor of love for me, and getting to share it with the McAlpine House team makes our daily work more inspired and harmonious,” said Ferrier. “Inviting our friends from the Atlanta design community to celebrate the next era of McAlpine House was so special and fun. Bobby and I make a great team—he and the other McAlpine House partners create the architectural backdrops for the interiors I design, and I have enjoyed a great working relationship with him for almost two decades.”
