The 9th annual Architectural Digest Home Design Show opening next month will feature home furnishings, accessories, art & antiques, kitchen and bath products, flooring, fabric, lighting and outdoor products. Among the many new features of this year's show will be a 1,600-square-foot contemporary model apartment located on the show floor. The decorated space represents a collaboration between Ligne Roset, Valcucine,Coro, Rimadesio and Listone Giordano by Margaritelli. An Airstream Studio style capsule will showcase applications of leather in an interior space. The Studio will be parked inside the Show and will also serve as an intimate trunk show for Moore & Giles bags. Fine antiques and mid-century designs will be on display and for sale in a gallery sponsored by 1stdibs.com. Sculptural objects and functional art created from historic salvaged wood will be part of an exhibit co-curated by sculptor Jacques Vesery, and presented by William E. Jewell, president and founder of Historical Woods of America. Other features include a designer seminar series, Homeportfolio.com design consultations, ASID designer-led tours of the show, and Dining by Design benefit gala. The show takes place at Pier 94, 12th Avenue at 55th Street, New York City from March 18-21.
