Arlene Angard Gallery
Designer Arlene Angard has opened her second Upper East Side, New York City location, the Arlene Angard Gallery. Find it at 15 East 71st Street in New York City.
Custom furniture company George Smith is now at the D&D Building (Suite 1615). The company recently introduced a furniture stock program, allowing designers to purchase handcrafted pieces for immediate delivery.
Kenneth Cobonpue has opened in the New York Design Center. The largest display of Kenneth Cobonpue and Design by Hive in the U.S., the showroom holds iconic designs as well as the latest collections. “Designers have been asking for a very long time to have a place where they can bring clients to see and touch the products, and to understand and appreciate the innovative techniques and workmanship that go into each piece,” says Cobonpue.
Cinar, the Turkish brand known for handwoven wool and silk carpets, has opened its first-ever U.S. flagship store, at 231 E. 58th Street, in New York City. The space which is owned by Mia Gargiulo and designed by Javier de la Garza and interior designer Charlie Martial, showcases luxury carpets, curated objects and a range of current and vintage furnishings.
Circa Lighting has opened a showroom in Greenwich, Connecticut. Find it at 21 W. Putnam Avenue.
Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams
Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams opened its third Boston-area showroom earlier this month. The 9,000-square-foot space was designed by architect David Byington and overseen by Bob Williams. It features upholstered and slipcovered furniture, case goods, lighting, area rugs, accessories, artwork and a custom bed-linen collection. Visit the new location at 22 Third Avenue, Burlington, Massachusetts.

Artemide opened its Chicago flagship store this week. The space is located at 351 W. Hubbard Street, #602, Chicago.
Godby Hearth & Home is opening a showroom at the Indiana Design Center, which will showcase fireplaces and hearth accessories (doors, screens, tool sets, gas logs and wood grates), as well as shower door enclosures, custom glass and mirrors, and outdoor living products. The IDC is located at 200 S. Rangeline Road, Carmel, Indiana.
HEWN has expanded into HEWN X, a 1,400-square-foot showroom in San Francisco that features products by Gary Hutton, The Rug Company, Fuse Lighting, Matthew Fairbank Design and Avrett. The new, gallery-like showroom spotlights local and up-and-coming artists and craftsmen.
