Known for his eco design, interiors and architecture and sustainable building services, Oliver Heath will offer a seminar at the interiors 2011 trade show: 'Unlocking the Benefits of Eco Chic.' The event will present the advantages of eco interiors and the ways of combining efficient and functional spaces with innovative and exciting designs ideas.
“I’m delighted to be talking at interiors 2011. My seminar will focus on how to bring sustainability to interiors by taking a balanced approach combining practical and aesthetic issues," said Heath.
Heath’s approach suggests a functional and decorative means to creating eco interiors that takes into consideration energy efficiency, cutting-edge eco and natural materials, reducing toxins and the benefits of incorporating vintage pieces. This balance of both practical and aesthetic issues is of value to all designers looking to create stylish and sustainable interiors.
“At last, form and function have a place in every interior, and the end result is the creation of better spaces; better for you, better for your clients and better for the environment. Good design has never been so important, and that’s what this show is all about," he said.
Other speakers include Peter Cross of Yellowdoor, lighting designer Sally Storey, Lloyd Princeton of Design Management Company, representatives from the Society of British Interior Design, Blacksheep Worldwide Fund for Nature, and a number of online experts.
