After more than three decades in the business, San Francisco-based interior designer Paul Vincent Wiseman of The Wiseman Group has published his first book, Inner Spaces, showcasing his firm’s 30-plus-year opus. To celebrate, Wiseman and his team hosted a cocktail reception and book-signing at Therien & Co. in Los Angeles last week.
The book showcases The Wiseman Group’s distinctive homes, beautiful traditional rooms and sophisticated contemporary spaces, all of which reflect Wiseman's emphasis on to local history and indigenous motifs.

“Californians enjoy being innovative while maintaining a relaxed and comfortable sensibility, so I incorporate contemporary art and custom design into my most successful projects,” Wiseman said. “Since we have the opportunity to spend much of the year outdoors, I also like to continue cutting-edge design details into the exterior spaces.”
Featured homes range from a Victorian update on San Francisco’s Russian Hill to an Art Deco apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side to a tropical sanctuary in Ka’upulehu, Hawaii.
