Peru showhouse features first-ever American collaboration
Nov 12, 2015

For over 20 years, Casa Cor Peru has hosted a showhouse to support the architectural and cultural values of Lima, Peru, through design. Earlier this week, Casa Cor Peru concluded its monthlong run in Callao, the largest seaport of Peru, home to narrow streets, historic squares and period architecture.

Edificio Ronald, where the showhouse took place, featured 33 rooms reimagined by industry leaders in design, decoration and landscaping. For the first time, this showhouse featured a design team from the United States: David Charette and Jay Britto, of Britto Charette.

“Casa Cor is a portal connecting local talent with the world. We have met amazing artists and designers during previous Casa Cors. While Casa Cor isn’t yet known in North America to the extent that we believe it deserves to be, it’s of enormous importance throughout Latin America. We would really like to help expand the awareness across a much broader base, and we are happy to use any influence we have in the U.S. to help create that connection,” shared the designers.
