The nation's design industry "elite" gathered at Cipriani 42nd Street late last month for the annual Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club’s President’s Dinner to celebrate the debut of the highly-anticipated Kips Bay Decorator Show House.
The evening, co-chaired by Architectural Digest Editor-in-Chief Margaret Russell and celebrated designer Bunny Williams, honored design visionary Ralph Pucci and City Councilwoman for New York City’s District 18, Annabel Palma.

Notable attendees included Dinner Vice-Chairs Jamie Drake, Victoria Hagan, Alexa Hampton and Richard Mishaan, and guests included Aerin Lauder, Mario Buatta, Dennis Basso, Tony Ingrao, Kelly Killoren, John Dempsey, Thom Filicia, Michael Smith and Martyn Lawrence Bullard.

Guests enjoyed special performances from ‘Aida’ starring members of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club and tablescapes designed by Mishaan. The evening raised more than $600,000 for the organization.
A week later, the show house officially opened its doors to the design community with another special celebration.

The show house is now open to the public through Thursday, May 29. Hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; and Sundays 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online or at the door.
Proceeds from the show house, which is expected to attract more than 20,000 visitors this year, benefit the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club which offers innovative after-school and enrichment programs for more than 11,000 youth, ages 6 through 18, in ten locations throughout the Bronx.
