Among the items up for auction: "Portrait of Patti Smith," 1997, by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders. Black-and-white print, 20-by-20 inches on 24-by-24-inch paper.
The event, to be held at the Mandarin Oriental New York on November 16, will honor each of the Legends recipients with a student-designed award; this year’s was created by Pratt Industrial Design student Megan Lighty, with the guidance of faculty adviser Alvaro Uribe of Alvaro Uribe Design.
