Design San Francisco 2015 (Feb. 4 through 6) will bring industry professionals together to offer ideas and valuable intel on what’s happening in the field locally and globally. For three days, designers, manufacturers, editors, bloggers and design enthusiasts will have the chance to explore, engage and enjoy panel discussions, keynotes, showroom events, parties and, yes, even a puppy fashion show.
Design San Francisco 2014
Highlights of this year’s market include two keynote presentations featuring top designers and design editors—Luxe Interiors + Design Editor in Chief Pamela Jaccarino in conversation with interior designer Paul Vincent Wiseman and designer Azadeh Shladovsky in conversation with Alisa Carroll, editor in chief of SFC&G (San Francisco Cottages & Gardens), the biennial Designers of Distinction awards program and the fourth-annual Haute | Dog event.

Jaccarino will begin the event with a conversation with Wiseman, and attendees will learn about his design process and latest projects, discover his favorite travel destinations and get a behind-the-scenes look into the fundamental design philosophies that inform his work at The Wiseman Group.
The following day, Shladovsky will take attendees through a visual journey of what inspires her. The question-and-answer session will be moderated by Carroll.
“For me, being creative means freedom for self-expression in all forms,” Shladovsky said. “Whether it’s design and architecture, graphic design and branding, furniture design or conceptual art and fashion; everything is part of the creative dialogue in my studio and laboratory. I feel immense gratitude for having the gift of seeing beauty where others don’t, and seeing the capacity for beauty in places where others do not look.”
In addition, the San Francisco Design Center showrooms have nominated more than 200 Bay Area interior designers for six coveted awards, and the very best in Residential/Traditional, Residential/Transitional, Residential/Contemporary, Residential/Creative Spaces, Hospitality, and Designer-to-Watch categories will be revealed on Feb. 4 during an awards lunch. Tickets are $65 and can be purchased online.
Haute Dog 2014
Design San Francisco will culminate on Feb. 6 with the Haute Dog event, benefiting the Muttville Senior Dog Rescue. The event stars dogs draped in fabric ensembles created by San Francisco Design Center showrooms. Tickets are available online.
Throughout the three-day event, showrooms will also reveal new product, Benjamin Moore will discuss 2015 color trends and guests will take part in lectures and cocktail parties. The complete schedule of events can be viewed here.
