“My ‘New American Style’ is based on a new NYC style, evolved from the white box minimalism and influenced by our 21st century social and environmental connections,“ said interior designer Scott Sanders. “The new American family lives expressively with their art, their work and passions, they must be both comforted by classics and stimulated by contemporary flexible spaces. For this reason, art is integral to the design of the space.”

Earlier this month in the West Village, Sanders joined a seasoned roster of design talents—workshop/apd, Rafael de Cárdenas/Architecture at Large, Carrier and Company Interiors and Studio Tim Campbell—who have contributed their creative energy and resources to modeling new condos at The Printing House Residence.
“Just like The Printing House, interior designer Scott Sanders is a quintessential NYC original,” said developer Myles Horn. “His world is a hybrid of discovery and taste. We chose Scott as the designer for our newest model because his signature sensibility fits perfectly with the style and taste of buyers attracted to our building.”

Artists, designers and tastemakers stopped by for the opening night party to tour the newly designed condo done in Sanders’ “New American Style”’ and take a special look at the exhibition, “The West Village through the Lens of Patrick McMullan.”

Sanders described his design for Residence 620 as a “masterful blend of clean-lined iconic and traditional pieces in concert with cutting-edge contemporary art and ingenious furnishing elements for a new vision of living both elegantly and playfully, a lure for both ‘downtown’ individuals, couples or families looking for a distinctive style.”
Sanders partnered with Dering Hall to furnish the space, choosing furnishings and fabrics from Brunschwig & Fils, Dmitriy & Co., Serena & Lily, Stark, Urban Electric Co., Waterworks, Avery Boardman, John Rosselli & Associates, Kravet and Phillip Jeffries, among others.
The Printing House is located at 421 Hudson Street between Leroy and Clarkson Streets, and Sanders’ Residence 620 is now open for tours.
