Schumacher’s latest fabric collection is a collaboration with London interior designer Veere Grenney, who is most notable for his elegant yet comfortable interiors. Woven in English mills and hand-blocked, the collection illustrates Veere’s belief that every room should be an expression of beauty, harmony, comfort and proportion.
As Schumacher Creative Director Dara Caponigro shares with EAL, “I've been a fan of Veere's even before I published his work at Veranda (I believe I was the first American magazine editor to feature his work). I spied his apartment in Australian Vogue Living in 2009 and used it as inspiration for my own house. The man is a genius. He knows when to pull out the stops and when to show restraint. And he is an absolute gentleman; I jumped at the chance to bring his collection to Schumacher. I'm such a fan of his designs and working with him is a dream.”
Designs from the collection include Berrydown and Burley
Previously only available directly through Veere Grenney in the U.K., the fabrics are now available at Schumacher showrooms.
