Springs Global today announced a licensing partnership with Waterworks. The debut bath collection will include a collection of towels, bathrobes, shower curtains, and bath accessories scheduled to be available in September 2010. Waterworks products are currently available through wholesale, freestanding retail showrooms, commercial and direct-to-consumer channels. Through design, brand, retail relationships and marketing expertise, Springs Global will bring Waterworks to new retail destinations in a multi-channel strategy that expands Waterworks' consumer reach. "We know that consumers shop for home through multiple channels – a consumer shopping habit that creates tremendous opportunity for Waterworks to broaden its reach," said Joe Granger, president for Springs Global's branded business. "We are looking forward to leveraging our leadership in the branded home fashions category and retail partnerships to take Waterworks to the next level in awareness and sales." "We are pleased to partner with Springs Global to evolve the Waterworks brand and find extensive distribution channels to reach new consumers," said Peter Sallick, CEO of Waterworks and founder of Design Investors, whose portfolio of brands includes Waterworks, Rose Tarlow Melrose House and Twill Textiles. Springs Global's portfolio of flagship and licensed brands include Wamsutta, Springmaid and Court of Versailles, and recently Diane von Furstenburg for the home. "By celebrating its unparalleled sense of classic style and urban color, we're looking forward to presenting home bath collections that capture the emotions of the consumer, and her desire to create the ultimate bath experience in her home," said Edward Cardimona, Springs Global's Chief Global Creative Officer.
