Jun 12, 2017

Lottozero, the Italian textile laboratory founded in 2012, will host Textile Summer Camp, a five-day intensive immersion in Italy’s Prato textile district. The “camp,” which starts July 3, is produced in collaboration with the Textile Museum of Prato (Museo del Tessuto) for the Textile Clothing Business Labs project. It is open to designers as well as artists, artisans and other professionals from various disciplines.

The experience will include a number of workshops and expert talks led by designers and artists; a tour of the Textile Museum of Prato that focuses on machinery and production; access to the Textile Museum’s archival collection; and networking opportunities for participants, in addition to textile production company tours.

“Prato and its industrial heritage are of international interest for textile art and design and we are really looking forward to presenting this inspiring city to people from all over the world,” says Lottozero. Running July 3 through 7, the program is OPEN FOR REGISTRATION until June 15.
