Surfaces, Inc. (www.surfaces.net) a wholesale supplier and distributor of mosaics, glass and porcelain tile is taking its product suite to the simplicity of multi-touch technology with the launch of Surfaces, an Apple iPhone and iPod Touch application. This application is designed to provide the most up-to-date and innovative surfacing products making product specification and selection easier by providing products from around the world with the touch of a screen. The first version features more than 400 individual products along with product and installation images and the necessary product technical specifications. The Surfaces, Inc. app currently includes: Certified Recycled Glass Mosaics, Glass, Stone, Metal, Pebble and Glass/Stone mosaics. The application allows designers and end-users to access the products of Surfaces, Inc., search for products, view those products installed, and place requests for samples and/or place the order which is then forwarded to a customer service department. New categories will be continually added to the app so that eventually almost every surfacing product imaginable will be available. Albert Claramonte, President of Surfaces, Inc., said, "We are confident that the Surfaces App will add a new dimension to purchasing and specifying surfacing products. Whether an architect, designer or end-user this app will provide access to products from around the world allowing the best concepts and designs." Gary W. Heinz, entrepreneur and President of GWH Ventures, who with Mr. Claramonte, conceived of this app, commented on future updates to the app. "We are already in discussions with other companies that have expressed interest in featuring and advertising their products on the Surfaces App. In addition, we are working on including special articles and tips of the trade from the hottest interior designers from around the world."
